The second film’s plot follows Professor Gabriel Emerson (Berruti) on a passionate, yet clandestine affair in Italy with his former student Julia Mitchell (Zanetti); but when they return to Toronto, their happiness is threatened by conspiring students, academic politics, and a jealous ex-lover.

The surviving crew of a damaged deep-space harvester have minutes to reach the emergency evacuation shuttle. A motion sensor is their only navigation tool leading them to safety while a creature in the shadows terrorizes the crew. However, the greatest threat might have been hiding in plain sight all along. After turning 40, filmmaker Anna confronts her future. She has no job and it's been ten years since her last girlfriend. No goals, plans or any idea of what she wants. And she's living in a garage.
